Meet the Staff
Dr. Cynthia Sagel
Dr. Cynthia Sagel is a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sagel grew up in Cincinnati and did her undergraduate work at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. She and and her husband have twin daughters and a younger son, as well as two rescue dogs and three pet rats. In her free time, Dr. Sagel enjoys running, boating, and spending time with her husband and kids. She really enjoys the close, personal relationships she is able to build with her clients and their pets in the small setting of Camargo Animal Hospital.
RVT, Veterinary Technician/Office Manager
Shelli Caskey started her career in 1998 after she graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She helped launch the opening of Camargo Animal Hospital in 2003 and has strived to make its patients and their owners feel like family. She has a passion for geriatric pets and assisting with general surgery. Shelli and her husband have welcomed 8 homeless pets into their home: 7 beautiful, spoiled cats and 1 crazy terrier mix. She enjoys scrapbooking, reading and pampering her furry kids.
Jodi Folzenlogen is a graduate of The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Cincinnati. Jodi plans to attend vet school in the future. She has lots of experience, including working at an animal shelter, a spay-neuter clinic, and a dog park. Jodi is a quick thinker and she loves all animals - especially her boxer mix, Finnegan. Jodi will be working with us as she gains insight into her chosen career.
Dr. Tracy Boehm
Dr. Boehm is a 2004 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her bachelors degree in Psychology from Northern KY University. Her special interests include Dermatology and Feline Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the KVMA. Dr. Boehm grew up in Northern KY where she currently resides with her 4 cats.
Dr. Julie O’Connell
As a former owner of Camargo Animal Hospital, Dr. Julie O'Connell is a familiar face and you may see her helping out from time to time. Dr. O'Connell graduated with her degree in Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 1995, and she enjoys all aspects of general medicine. Dr. O'Connell is married with two children, and has four dogs (all are rescues).
